We offer many types of removable dentures.
Removable Partial Denture
“Partials” or removable partial dentures are an option to replace teeth in a dental arch where there are still some natural teeth remaining. In some cases, this may be the best or only option to restore missing teeth if other options like fixed bridgework or implants are not indicated.
A type of partial denture sometimes referred to as a “flipper” may be just temporary. This restoration may be used while healing occurs after a tooth extraction for example.
Precision Removable Partial Denture
A precision removable partial denture can be a very satisfactory restoration in terms of esthetics, comfort and secure fit. Its application is limited to very specific cases.
“Complete” or “full” removable dentures are for patients that are missing all teeth in a dental arch.
A complete implant “overdenture” is a denture that snaps onto dental implants that have been placed in the jawbone. This can make a big difference in a patient’s confidence as a denture wearer because of the secure fit that can be achieved.
